Honoring Concord’s farming heritage

Before Concord existed as a town, 6 seasonal farming camps were established, including in the areas around Bedford Street and Monument Street. As time passed, Concord became the first official town in the interior of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Not only were our rivers and good soils utilized for sustenance, but native corns, beans, squash, grapes, strawberries and asparagus flourished among many other crops in this area.

In recent times, farming families like the Scimone’s continue to use our fertile soil for farming purposes as the current farm to table movement thrives.

Concord Culinary Homes is a nod to the rich history that we carry forward today. Our residents have a deep understanding and interest in how healthy living brings happiness and communities together.

A community based around the goodness that comes from the ground we live on.
